Bydalen Slalom races werent successful from a results standpoint - TopicsExpress

Bydalen Slalom races werent successful from a results standpoint as I straddled a gate in both of the races. However, I am really stoked with how I skied. In the first race, I had quite a substantial mistake in the first run and I was expecting them to pull out a monthly calendar to register my time. To my absolute surprise, I was only 1 second behind the leader. I knew I had to give it the beans in the 2nd run, and I did. I straddled, but I felt like I found another gear in my Slalom which is awesome. I took that into the 2nd race, and whilst I skied really well, I was unlucky in straddling again. Those damn snow snakes... Im feeling really strong in my skiing at the moment, so its all positive. My coach, Chris McKnight, and I made the trip to Vemdalen today to get a few days of training in over Christmas before the next set of races in Sundsvall on the 27th / 28th Heres some footage from the first run of the 2nd day of the Bydalen races, just before i straddled... Rossignol LEKI POC Sports - Australia & New Zealand ESS Performance Mt Buller Race Club Mt Buller i ski for tommy.
