**** CALL OUT **** Team Paged at 2035 SUN 28th JULY, MALE SUSPECTED EPILEPTIC FIT ON BEACH MABLETHORPE. Mablethorpe Coastguard Rescue Team Were Paged by Humber MRCC to a male casualty who had been drifting in and out of consciousness after a suspected epileptic fit. Mablethorpe Coastguard, Mablethorpe ILB, First responders and EMAS arrived on scene and helped stabilise the casualty who was very cold and not responding. It was clear to Mablethorpe Oscar that the casualty needed to get to hospital ASAP, so he requested the help of the Sea King Rescue Helicopter from Kinloss (RESCUE 128). Mablethorpe Coastguard Team Split, one team commenced FOD (foreign Object Detection) of the primary landing location which was next to the casualty, whilst the other team commenced FOD of the secondary landing site which was Sherwood Playing Fields Mablethorpe. The Pilot of RESCUE128 decided it was safe to land next to the casualty and use the primary landing site. Crew of the secondary site came back on scene to assist with the casualty. We can confirm the casualty is in a much better way after been flow to Grimsby Princess of Wales Hospital. 6 Crew members in attendance Remember if you’re in difficulty along the coast, or see someone who is.
