CALL UPON HIS NAME For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. JN. 3:16 Jesus was sent and displayed the love of God unto the world and the world still did not receive it, and still it denies what God has given. Jesus shed his blood, in hopes that we would receive the love of God and accept the forgiveness of our sins by the washing of them in the blood of Christ, our Saviour. Jesus knew where he came from and where he was going to return to and he was willing to come in the form of man. To experience all that man had to go through in this flesh and was willing to show the world that he as a man could walk through it without sin, pure and undefiled before God, a perfect sacrifice that was needed for our salvation. We could not do it on our own, nor can we now do it on our own. We still need a Saviour in our lives to walk in the love of God. We are not perfect and may trip, stumble, and even fall, but we have the Spirit of God with us and His love still reaches out for us. We are loved in Christ Jesus our Lord. He walked among us, died for us, showed the world that death could not hold him down. Presented unto this world the body that this world crucified and walked upon again, showing the hope that we are to have in the love of God. God knows all of our faults, doubts, and disbeliefs and He still loves us. We are not perfect, but are being perfected in the love of Christ Jesus, our Lord. The last days had started when God sent forth His Son unto us. Do we believe this to be true? This day I testify of a day where I was in the midst of my sin and I was laying upon the earth with no thought in mind except the name of Jesus and I called upon the name above all names within my mind, a union took place. A slight breeze, a mighty rushing wind engulfed around this body and I was unable to move, all my strength tried to move me, yet it would not happen. Three things took place in this moment, First, my mind was still praising the Lord, saying, Jesus I love you in such rapid successions like a raging river all in one flow, Second, another voice kicked in, telling me something crazy is happening and for me to get up. Fowl language came forth, fear was rising up and I couldnt move. Third, a calm voice also rose up and told me not to fear, to relax, and that no harm would come to me. The instant I agreed, the voice which cursed and was in torment with fear, left and I was at peace, all the while the voice that praised Jesus never left. Now, I was able to rise up and no longer did the words stay within my mind, but came flowing out of may mouth. I could not stand up straight, it was as if I was drunk with tears flowing out of my eyes like a water faucet had been left open. An overwhelming love filled my very being, my eyes looked up toward the heavens and they seen a multitude of the shadows of people all praising God in one accord, one after another, every name the Alpha, Omega, Bright Star, Morning Star, etc., etc. These ears beheld heavenly music unexplainable, but ever instrument heard with an untold clarity, Gods amazing Grace. I had a friend with me when all of this took place, and he was holding me up when I couldnt hold myself up, until his voice broke through all that was happening with me. I can relate to the experience of Saul when he was knocked off from his horse and the light shined upon him. Those who were around him could see the light, but they could not hear the voice spoken to him. It was the first thing that I asked my friend, did you feel that wind and he said yes. He just questioned, if I was alright and what had just happened, so I knew within myself that he neither heard or seen what took place and at that time I didnt tell him. This all took place at a park and to me it was the beginning of my journey with Christ and the Spirit of our Lord. This all happened 30 years ago, at the age of 22, and the Spirit of the Lord is still working with me and I so long to know Him. Wish I could say all was smooth sailing, but even death came knocking at this door, I thank God for His mercies and grace upon this life and morso now for the love that He has for all who dwell upon this earth. Miracles of life continue to take place, no matter where we may run to, Gods Spirit will show us the love He has for us, but truly we are going to have to accept it or reject it and this we have been given a lifetime to do so. We do not know when our time will come, but He does. We may not be perfect in this flesh, but we can still ask God for help, if we believe. Jesus I simply want to thank you for you love and for never giving up on us. Father thank you for sending us thy Spirit which teaches us through all that we go through. We pray that you would just take us one step closer to understand the love that You have for us and in the knowing we would be able to share with others the love of God. Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
