*** CALLING ALL CAKE MAKERS :-) ********* AGREE ?.......... Just some of what goes into A cake………….. In no particular order….. The call, meetings and perhaps more calls and meetings, the research, the emails back and forth, the sketching and re-sketching, the shopping, the driving, the baking (and worst case scenario the re-baking :-( ), the cooling, filling, chilling, crumbcoating or ganaching, the time to sharp edge to perfection, the fondant being strengthened, kneaded, coloured, re-kneaded and rolled, the covering of the cake, the perfecting the fondant on the cake, the decorations done in between all of the above, the covering of the board in fondant, the ribbon for the board, the shopping for the ribbon, the decoration breakages and potential re-makes :-( , the assembling and stacking and constant levelling, the photographing, the photo editing, the photo watermarking, the boxing the cake, the delivery, the ‘fixing’ tool box, the clients reaction, the exhaustion and stress but hopefully a final contented sense of achievement !! …. HAVE I LEFT ANYTHING OUT :-) :-)
