CALLING ALL RESCUES - URGENT SITUATION IN BRADFORD COUNTY: Florida friends - PLEASE pass along this message. The Bradford County Animal Shelter is requesting help to pull dogs and cats in advance of potential flooding this weekend. They will be moving the animals to the Bradford County Fair Grounds and would appreciate any rescues that can pull before 5:00 p.m. today. Someone will be there until then. There are several pitt mixes and other dogs that have been there a long time. Some of these are already spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. In order for these groups to adopt they must have a copy of their 501C3, a letter of reference from the rescuer’s veterinarian stating that the rescue group does sterilize all pets before offering them for adoption and their contact information on file with the shelter.
