CAN FACEBOOK SAVE US? In response to one of my posts on Islam and Multiculturalism, someone asked a very reasonable question: Whats the use of posting stuff about it on Facebook? Well, the mainstream media have had a stranglehold on public discourse for decades. They create the narrative which frames the publics perspective on events. The media is dominated by those who are politically on the Left. A recent statistical study of the BBC, here in the UK, found that it is institutionally biased towards the Left - showing much more coverage from Left wing organisations, Left wing think tanks and academics. It is also funded by the European Union to the tune of £20,000,000 a year, which explains its pro EU stance. The BBC has done much to support and promote immigration and multiculturalism, and often framed critics of such things as bigots and racists, therefore shutting down debate. Western media, as a whole, has almost universally failed to address the issue that is important to a vast number of people - that of immigration and Islamisation. As Facebook, Twitter, and other forms of social media have become universally adopted, the mainstream medias stranglehold on what events are reported, and from what perspective, has been broken. People now have the opportunity to reach out to others with information and perspectives that rarely, if ever, appear in the mainstream media. People can make others aware of the impact of immigration at both a local and national level, and even show events in countries much further down the road of Islamisation. PEGIDA arose from a grass roots movement on social media. The 61% of Germans who now say in surveys that Islam has no place in the West, did not come to that conclusion from mainstream media reporting, which hides much of the negative Islamic behaviour and then tries to pass off major acts of terrorism and aggression as nothing to do with the Religion of Peace. German public opinion has changed over a number of years because information is flowing through social media, enabling people to become informed via average citizens reporting societal events to each other, and being free to show them from the perspective of the average person, instead of them being squeezed through a series of filters created by the establishment and the Leftist intellectual elite. The rise of the UK Independence Party came about, not through the mainstream media, who under-reported Nigel Farages activity and speeches in the EU Parliament, and mocked them when they did choose to pay attention - UKIPs rise came about through people connecting, and disseminating information on Facebook - allowing people to get a more realistic view of UKIP - not the establishment view of UKIP as ignorant, right-wing knuckle dragging racists. This resulted in polling numbers moving from 2% to as much as 20%, within a very short period of time. As censorious as Facebook is gradually becoming, it is still responsible for the rise of the first viable political party to challenge the hegemony of the Left. With Islam, we face the same choice that every country throughout history where it has managed to get a foothold, has faced. As a nation, we will either choose a political solution to expel the Islamic threat, or over the next few generations, we will face a violent and bloody clash of cultures. This is not up for debate, it is demonstrable fact. Both history, and current world events, show that Islam cannot adopt the values of any culture it settles in, and cannot live peacefully within any nation it becomes a part of. For hundreds of years, since Islams last incursion into Europe, Europeans have ensured it would not get a foothold again. For example, no Mosques were allowed to be built in Spain for the last 500 years, until the Great Mosque of Granada was built in 2003. By 2010 there were 13 Mega-Mosques and 1000 standard Mosques in Spain. Europe has lost its understanding of history and the threat Islam poses. Does this kind of information make it into the mainstream media? Of course not. And this is exactly why social media is crucial. If we want to avoid leaving a terrible legacy for our children, and their children, then we must choose a political solution to the problem of Islam. This will only be achieved when enough people understand the issues we face, and what is happening right now in our midst, and in other Western countries with sizeable Muslim populations. The mainstream media will not do it for us. So the answer to the question, Whats the use of posting stuff about it on Facebook? is that this is the only weapon we have in our arsenal with which we can educate our fellow citizens to reject our current political leaders, and elect politicians who will face the issue. It may sound like a grand claim, but Facebook and Twitter may turn out to be the saviours of Western society. Unlike · You and 3 others like this. .
