CARTEL stash houses in EAGLE PASS (yes, even in your neighborhoods) Drug trafficking through QUEMADO (theres no bridge there so you know they had their established routes along the river) Arms smuggling in and through EAGLE PASS (in public, people!) Threats of DEATH to people coerced into the trade One of the guys had a valid VISA and was detained in Eagle Pass. The other was caught crossing the river ILLEGALLY. And youd better believe that this was NOT their first time coming into the country. These 2 did as they pleased with our BORDER and with the CITIZENS of EAGLE PASS from 2011 thru 2013. Do you think that everything has ended just bc they are now in federal custody? Maybe last months FBI report will convince you that there is so much MORE than defenseless little children entering this country in search of a better life. I worked with the victims of the men in this report. Their stories seemed so far-fetched but they were later corroborated by my conversations with the Border Patrol, DPS, and other federal officers. And now, convictions. But there is so much more!! This, an overburdened immigration system that just lets critical petitions for well-deserved benefits sit around, the cruel treatment and civil rights violations we are seeing all the recent refugees facing (to prob be deported anyway), and so much MORE is why I am urging stronger border enforcement.
