CAUTION THIS IS A RANT: Shop Local I work for a company based out of Shreveport. When I needed service done on my company vehicle I convinced the owner to let me get it repaired locally. The entire story covers six weeks and three repair shops and is not fit for telling on Facebook. The last entry to the saga came this morning. Less than 20 miles after spending $1527.41 with a local dealers service center, my check engine light came back on. When I called them they said I needed to make an appointment. The next appointment available is 8:00 on the 23rd. I asked if I could bring it by and have the code read. I could put 2000 miles on the van in two weeks. I would hate to do damage to the engine or be left on the side of the road. Well get this. He said that was what the appointment was for. I have to wait two weeks to see what it will take to finish what I paid them to do. If they fix it that day (insert laughter here) it will be two months. Next time I will shop local in Shreveport.
