CBN & COURT OF APPEAL…WHERE ARE THE APOLOGISTS OF SANUSI AND SALAMI? YOU CANNOT BITE THE FINGER THAT FEED YOU… NOW MY TIME TO ASK THEIR APOLOGISTS QUESTION…DOES THE PRESIDENT HAS THE POWER TO SACK THE LIKES OF SANUSI AND SALAMI? NOW SANUSI BEGIN HIS WALK TO PRISON… Okay now…Those Sanusi Lamido Sanusi apologists that have always called for my head each time I posted themes as it relates to this well known extremist, can now go and hide. They said, the President does not have the powers to sack the CBN governor even if he becomes the “Over President”. They even said that only two third of the Nigeria Senate can forgetting that such request must have to be made first by the same President. Okay now, if the Senate who now confirms Mr. Godwin Emefiele as new CBN Governor, has done so in good faith, have they not technically agree on the removal of Sanusi from same office? Again oka now, they said, the President has no power to even suspend the CBN governor such that the arrogant and garrulous former banker was ill advised by his sycophants as he went to court to ask for his reinstatement. I am sure it should be done on him by now that the Senate he was relying on cannot even guarantee his position. The Senate has helped the court to solve the problem by providing answer to the question the court was battling on how to give response to. The Judge will at this point not waste time but just conclude that same senate have confirm another person to take over the seat of the CBN governor even when the time is yet to elapse meaning they are in agreement with the President decision. The Judge will just say, time has taken over or events have taken over….Surely, the court will throw away Sanusi’s request and go ahead to attend to the charges of fraud against him by FG. It is quite unfortunate that Sanusi did not conduct himself with decorum as CBN Governor, an exalted position he handled with disrespect by becoming a political tool of opposition against the government he was serving. From all indication, Sanusi was suspended, and should have gone to beg and ‘romance’ with the present powers that be but decided to continued with his egotistical approach to matter for which may lead to him being handed over with a sack letter in a matter of time. It is widely and well known accepted facts that “he that lives in a glass house does not throw stones” and I have repeatedly say that, “he who comes to equity must come with clean hands: that is to say, when you seek justice, your hands should not be tainted with illegality”. The above quotes have always be the basis for my views but however should not be misconstrued to say the President is a saint. We must learn to differentiate ‘politicism’ from ‘technocratism’. As far as I am concern, Sanusis was more of a politician that a technocrat for which many believe he was. Same goes as Senate has confirmed another iron lady in the making as President of Court of Appeal. There are positions one hold and must learn to conduct himself with high esteem. Sometimes, I feel pain, when I hear from the likes of Tambuwa and many other highly placed Nigeria referring matters to Federal Government (FG). They make some of us feel that only the members Federal Executive especially the President in some case is the Federal Government. I wonder why the number four citizen by status will make comment like thus “ from our end here, we urge the FG to act toward the benefit of the esteem citizenry…”) by trying to dissociate him and his colleague from whatever was going on at that time. Whereas, he and his colleagues are meant to join hands with the President and his Executive members in profiling lasting solutions to the many challenges bedeviling our dear Nation. I salute the Nigeria Senate. Sincerely, I raise my thumb and give it to the President of Senate and his colleagues. The red chamber of the National Assembly has been ‘Federal Government’ in their actions and decisions. The same scenarios as it existed in the green chamber of the National Assembly are being played or replicated by some State Governments especially that of Lagos and Rivers. When they are meant to address issues as it bordering the residing citizens, you hear them through the concerned commissioners saying, the FG is not living up to expectation hence the reason for the nonattendance to the matter that may arise as it were. Whereas, they will not waste a second to double collect tax even when it was sure that the right to collect such tax is within the strongbox of the FG. We cannot continue like this. This was what played against the former President of Court of Appeal. He was working under Federal Government and was loyal to some leaders of the opposition thereby assuming that the Federal Government is the Executive. Our leaders must change this thinking that when it is going wrongly and rightly, it is FG and ‘us’ respectively to a philosophy of when faultily and perfectly as ‘we’ and ‘we’ correspondingly. Today, after the Senate confirmation of the duo of the New CBN Governor and President of Appeal Court, I hereby asked, where are the apologists of Sanusi and Salami? Again, okay now, it is my time to ask them question…Does the President has the power to sack the likes of Sanusi and Salami? May be they should throw their answers to the storage bin so we can collectively move the country forward…
