CHAMPIONS 4 EVERYDAY LIFE ON A DAY LIKE THIS PLEASE READ THIS FASCINATING STORY... In the school of life, our everyday environment in which we see things is our class room but it takes the functional mind to understand what life has to teach at that particular moment. The story about the Lion and the buffaloes was not a tale but happened live and was watched in the famous National Geographical Station (Na Geo Wild) in Dstv. A fight came up with 6 lions and about 20 buffalos. It was amazing how the lions caught one buffalo down and was trying to tear it for food, but more amazing was the courage of the remaining buffalos who returned to rescue their colleague. They kicked with their heads and legs until all the offending lions flee, leaving behind one lion which the defending buffalos eaisly killed. Two lessons I will like to bring out from this story is first even in the midst of what seems as a hopeless situation, dont just give up eaisly. Persist for some time and never allow fear to overwhelm you. This is what the buffalo did prior the arrival of his fellow buffalos. The lord said in Joshua 1 vs 9 ...Be strong and courageous. Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. The second lesson is about friendship: A true friend freely, advises justly, assists readily, adventures bodly, takes all patiently, defends courageously and continues a friend unchangeably.- WILLIAN PERIN In life though we are not sure about all our friends but make sure you have a friend who will come for your rescue in the face of trobule. That friend that should be able to save his or her friend YOU. Never just be a friend when things are perfectly going well but in the midst of tempations, trobules and trials will you be ready to stand with your friend or are you going to be the one to back out and talk at your friends back judging the actions? I believe thats why somebody once said, Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what we want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down and I even add when theres no available bus, we need somebody that will walk with us through those season of instability. Never forget this, we have friends because in the season of trobule, it doesent catch up with us at the same time, a good friend should always help when their friends are in need of their assistance as A friend in need is a friend indeed. Always have in mind that the journey of heaven is not an individual race but a corporate race. You need a worthy friend for you cant do it all alone. Always live to make Heaven at last. Celebrate and appreciate your friends who have added to your life since you met them today.
