CHARACTER ASSASSINATION AND CHEAP POLITICAL GAIN: Be mindful of the earlier report in the National Trail News Paper sometimes last month, which revealed that millions of naira was air marked for media propaganda and character assassination of SAS and some prominent politicians in Borno State, by KSM and allies. That news is no longer a story but a reality as the money for hand back for ground persons and Journalist alike have now through the various media outputs such as BRTV, This Day Paper; People’s Daily etc already commenced the job. By trying to link people to what seems to be illogically connected. Because, they are trying to say that SAS is the sponsor of BKH, which in reality he is the number one enemy of the group, who suffered the highest number of lost to the insurgency involving his relatives, associates and friends ie Awana Ngala, Goni Sheriff, Zanna Mallam Gana, Mustapha Flawama, General Mamman Shuwa, Mustapha Bale, Fannami Gubio, Fannami Ngarannam etc. If he is their sponsor why they should kill his people? Is just like saying BKH are targeting all friends and relatives of Moh’d Yusuf, how can this sound to you? I mean does it make sense? They also claim that the source of their information is a foreign journalist and mediator between BKH and the FG. But the reality is that the ill motivated information was concocted from the GH Maiduguri. Thus, my reasons are as follows: 1 – They mentioned that SAS decamped to PDP in order to save his nerves from being arrested for that reason. What they forget is that, where were they; for all this while when SAS was in APC they never said he was sponsor of BKH, but is only now that he joins the PDP? 2 – They mentioned that SAS is involved in the kidnapping of the school girls. For God sake we are all living witnesses when WAEC indebted KSM, for refusing to follow simple instruction/suggestion which resulted in that unfortunate incident. 3 – They also mentioned that it was BKH commanders who stated SAS’s involvement in sponsoring them. But they failed to state how the sponsorship came; and the level of his involvement? This further crippled their concoction. 4 – While they claim that a Mediator who works for Australia Media was the source of their information and pretended to get it from the foreign media output. It is confirmed that the man was poisoned with dollars to join the political desperate move, when he was camped in the GH Maiduguri. Where he dines and wine with KSM and Allies prior to pollute the air with the story. 5 – And BRTV Maiduguri, the only one among the media houses in the state that broadcasted the venom, is a well known media with full of myopic individuals whose outstanding performance in terms of crippling and frustrating the opposition is well known. Because, what they did to SAS during the late Mala Kachalla administration; and that of Governor Goni in 2011 is fresh in our memory. And all this personalities contributed so much to the development of the Media House and its personality. Though there is this common believes that, if BRTV supported you, you will never win election in Borno. And they always forget that “the venom of a viper does nothing to the back of a tortoise”. Imagine people like El-Rufai accusing others for supporting BKH. Is surprise to see “kettle calling pot black”, because it is fresh in our memory when El-Rufai keep on challenging the solders for confronting the BKH with force, saying that only dialogue is the answer? And he was accused of sympathizing with the group. And for all this while he did not came out with this character assassination propaganda, but why now that the APC is losing ground in the entire north east; and SAS is championing the course? And for the self appointed negotiator between BKH and FG, where were you for all this period of the BKH saga? that only now you’re coming in at a time when millions of naira is at hand to buy the faith of journalist in joining the political game for venomous character assassination. And by mere seeing you in the GH Maiduguri it is enough to make you a party to Kashimiya Movement. The ill faithed and venomous information has further discredit itself by Joining Ihejireka with SAS. For your record, BKH has three generation. First generation was under Late Mala Kachalla and OBJ. The second was under SAS and Yer Adua and the third was under KSM and GEJ. When SAS was governor it was Mohammed Yusuf that heads the group. And throughout the tenure SAS engaged him in court and their members were confronted by the OPRATION FLUSH II. The Chief of Army staff by then was General Dambazau. Now tell me how manage SAS sponsored the group during his tenure; when he was out of government? And now the group leader is Shakkau and this man is investigating Shakkau not Yusuf. And for KSM it is on record, and we are all living witnesses when you said you are dialoguing with the group and extending the hands of fellowship to them by empowering them for those who are ready to lay down their arms. And by implication a lot has been given to them. But I challenge all the Kashimiyas to bring in any manner or point at which SAS said or considered BKH, or even engaged them in dialogue talk less of empowering them? Astonishingly, if you hear the whole story and carefully observe it, never you can find a single point that connects SAS to the group talk less of sponsorship. As both Kanuri and Hausa proverbs said “SAA ZOLIN3MINNA D3, NJILULU FIT3N3MIN NOTIN” and “SHURE-SHURE BAYA HANA MUTUWA”. Alhamndu Lillahi and Thanks.
