CHIEF ENGINEER KASHMIR PWD MR.S.K. RAZDAN ADRESSING PRESS CONFRENE AT SRINAGAR Chief Engineer R&B while enlisting the damages suffered by the sector as a result of the recent floods maintained that 283 bridges were damaged while 54 got washed away. He said that we have undertaken the temporary restoration of majority of these bridges and made them functional so that the people of different areas get connected. He also divulged that restoration of 127 Kms of road which were washed away due to the recent floods have also been restored. The Chief Engineer also gave out that five teams have been constituted to assess the magnitude of damage caused to the infrastructure due to the floods. He said that advisory has also been issued in this matter which has been published in different newspapers.
