Steadily, they begin to take over the operations of the civil realm, just as Christians did in fourth-century Rome under Constantine. This is an inescapable development of the spread of Christianity. Covenant-keeping people exercise dominion in every area of life, not excluding anything that is morally legitimate, and clearly not excluding politics.
