CLEANING UP THE ENVIRONMENT – CARING for the PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT (Continuation) A system of ever-widening concentric circles within which we significantly improve our physical environment is put in place. Each individual does his part. Each of us then reach out to others so that we can work together on the bigger spaces around us: those with us at home each with a specific assignment, so that we can collectively raise the standards of cleanliness, physical convenience, attractiveness, and comfort in every nook and cranny of our homes; those with us in offices and factories all pitching in so that by sections and departments we can reach the highest levels of orderliness, functionalism, and aesthetics. We do not stop at our homes and places of work. Our communities too are looked after through the neighborhood associations we actively promote and join. The local leadership of our towns, cities, and provinces also establish the framework within which many initiatives can be undertaken by civic clubs, professional organizations, and NGOs to make entire localities clean and green, well-ordered, and beautiful.
