CLICK ON HD FOR BEST QUALITY A few weeks back I had lunch with a most unexpected lunch date. We have both been doing our thing in LA, him way longer than I, but still, somehow we sat across from each other, not in a mano a mano like one would think, but instead in one of the most refreshing exchanges of ideas and passions that has come forth this year for me. We talked about our struggles with seeing our dreams to fruition in Los Angeles but more importantly we spoke of the future and how this amazing city we live in has still has an infinite amount to offer. We spoke of our vastly different worlds and how, under the right circumstances, respect and integrity they could work together. We discussed pitfalls, learning experiences and laughed at our own naivetés through out the years, all those….It didnt quite go as planned! moments. Without question its what has made us both stronger and ever more confident, knowing that we are doing what we are meant to be doing. My lunch date was and has been many times since with señor Kobi of Sound Nightclub. Kobi, Ashley and the rest of this most gracious team have shown the massive efforts they have undergone to truly change the dynamic in their space. Changes from where people dance, to security personnel, to staff training, sound system, and hospitality as a whole. These are all important changes that are absolutely essential to what The Eclectech stands for. I truly believe that without these changes, Kobi might not have reached out to me, as he respects what weve built through out the years and understands that these are all fundamental to what we do. I trust that this union will bring some incredible opportunities for us all as we together help make Los Angeles an important place for music in the world. Kobi has opened his home to VOODOO and it is where we will celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our cherished musical home. It will take place on Sunday Jan 18th in the early afternoon to evening. Our very special guests for this momentous anniversary occasion and celebration of this union will be Frank & Tony, two artists that never compromise and after years of staying true to their instincts and listening to their proverbial gut, are now seeing and enjoying the accolades they so well deserve. So friends, please join us and lets create something new and very special together!
