CLOUDBURST IN BIG BEAR LAKE Dramatic pounding rain in the side courtyard at the Wigwam on Sunday, July 27, 2014 – 5:20 PM We had overcast weather all day with thunderstorms beginning about 1 PM today and just getting worse. Weve had one umbrella lifted straight up and then tossed over, but not damaged, and were getting tired of cleaning the windows over and over again so theyll be nice for next weekend! My recollection is that the monsoonal flows and wet summers precede a wet winter. I hope Im right. If not, just keep this monsoonal moisture down in the Gulf of Mexico where it belongs!
