CONTEST: FREE flight in my plane to the person who guesses closest answer to what happened three days ago, that caused the damage in these pictures. My friends know I give them an amazing amount of grief if they do something dumb. I ride them really hard, and nothing is off limits, but you know I am the first to tell on myself and laugh at my own stupid human tricks, well... this one raised…. (or lowered) the bar- even for my dumbass, and that is a pretty low bar. In 48 hours I will close submissions and select the winner. The pix are of the cute little 65 horsepower 1946 Aeronca Champ that turned into Lucifer for just 1.6 seconds and damn near ruined my life, and pix of my left foot and both legs. The scrapes and bruises started at my ankles and went up both legs to just about an inch south of my danger zone. It jacked up my left wrist and back as well, but I was shaking so much when I took the pix with blood that they came out blurry. You cant make stuff like this up. Both inner thighs looked the same, and I have long legs, so that is a good 10 inches of bruise/scrape. Let the jokes on me begin…. and hint, you are going to have to be creative to guess what really happened. And yes, I chose my words in this post so you could tear me apart. I gave you countless lead ins to jokes already. I appreciate a good laugh, even if it is on my dumbass account. Now I have to go work on some prototype drag chute and tail finned watermelons for tomorrows truck destruction. Oh…. and safety freaks, have special fun……but I already know what you will say. And you are afraid to practice stalls in a plane…. I crack myself up sometimes.
