COULD ALL OF THESE MACKAY SUGAR MAINTENANCE OR MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS BE EXAGGERATED OR UNTRUE? * Cant run the powerhouse at full output as cant use all exhaust steam. * Refinery steam is shut off because of boiler issues. * Pipework throughout mills bandaged because they are too thin to weld. * Shortcuts taken on co-gen boiler installation - No as build drawing done and no local full line isolation - people overseeing received bonuses because work came in under budget due to shortcuts. * Kilometre upon kilometre of tramline rail in mud and dirt instead of ballast. * Bins in poor condition - locos in poor condition - track plant in poor condition * Couple of bridges in poor condition - will not support 2x40 tonne locos - have to separate to cross. * Money for 5S (sort, straighten, shine, standardize & sustain) just a total waste of money. * All contributing to low morale within the mill workforce.
