CREDIT BUREAU SPECIALIST SUMMARY The Credit Bureau Specialist works within Company guidelines to research and respond to consumer credit bureau disputes received from the three major credit bureaus, and functions as a backup Customer Service. . RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for submitting AUDs Responsible for investigating ACDVs and responding in a timely manner Ensures that reporting meets federal guidelines and reporting standards Applies company policies when interacting with a consumer so that to the best of our ability, consumers are accorded their rights under the terms of their cardholder agreement and under governing statutes Communicates with Credit Bureau representatives via phone, email and written correspondence Takes calls from cardholders and responds knowledgeably to questions Displays profession phone manners REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred Minimum of 1 year previous related experience Previous customer service experience Previous experience with credit bureau reporting is a preferred Knowledge of furnisher’s guidelines is a plus Strong analytical ability Good problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer and software experience Intense attention to small details Accurate and timely data entry skills Ability to work in a deadline driven environment Must be able to manage competing priorities Excellent temp-to-hire opportunity. $12 - $14/hour to start.
