Call for Papers KALAM Journal - Volume VI Research Papers / Article should be submitted electronically in Microsoft word format as an e-mail attachment to kalamjournal6@gmail before 31st August, 2013. The Journal of Kalam is peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal devoted to the pursuit of knowledge and continuing inquiry into the ways in which human communities form and work together. Papers deal with all aspects from all fields of the arts stream; social sciences, and humanities, including anthropology, languages and literature, history, film and media, cultural studies, gender studies, geography, computer science, linguistics, politics and peace, economics and development, philosophy and psychology, and sociology. We accept articles based on congruence with the purpose of the Journal, importance of the contribution to existing literature, conceptual and written clarity, and sound methods. Research papers submitted to the Journal of Kalam may not be published elsewhere except with written consent of the Journal. We accept only original papers (not published or accepted for publication elsewhere). Instructions for Authors: • Articles are 3,000 to 5,000 words, double-spaced with one-inch margins. • Send an electronic copy (MS Word) via e-mail to the editor. • You must send a disk in MS Word format as a substitute for the e-mail. • Include all citations in the text. List them alphabetically at the end of the article in the References section. Use APA citations guidelines. • Include contact information for each author (affiliation, address, telephone, and e-mail address). • Include a brief abstract, no longer than 100 words. • Use English or Tamil language. • Use 12-point Times New Roman for English versions; 12-point Kalaham for Tamil version.
