Can you help?! My friend Melina runs an amazing charity called Madwoman foundation (madwoman.au). The charity connects people to help others in need. MAD Woman has helped homeless people, women and children fleeing domestic violence and victims of natural disaster. They have helped create tens of thousands of meals for hungry and homeless and aided thousands and thousands of others including Black Saturday, Earthquake and flood survivors, disabled and disadvantaged youth, long-term unemployed, children facing illness and more. Last week the MAD Woman premises was flooded by its sewage pipe, Melina and her team had to throw food, clothing, treats and raw materials - destined to help people in need - in the bin. They need your help to raise funds and stock to to help people. Trivia Night Fundraiser They are holding at Trivia Night fundraiser in Melbourne on Thursday 23 October at the Collingwood Town Hall. Individual tickets are $65 and tables of 10 are $600. The night includes drinks/finger food along with prizes and auction/raffle. Donations They would sincerely welcome donations (you can Donate at madwoman.au) – all amounts over $2 will be receipted and can be claimed as a tax deduction. Replacement Items They are working on a wish list for replacement items, but as they currently have nowhere to store anything, they are not able to start that part of their appeal yet.
