Can you imagine the glory of God contained in a – box? The power of God corked in a bottle? The love of God in the form of a pill? Can you imagine? No box, no bottle, no pill could ever confine God or even His attributes. Anything that man could make would never be strong enough, complex enough, deep enough to withstand the power, intricacy, density that is only the tip of what our God is I sometimes think of this when I think of my son. In a much simpler context - and yet still so profound – I see it not as a death, but more in the terms of Clint’s body being broken to the point it could no longer hold his spirit. What was eternal, what was purely Clint – his essence – escaped the confines of the body that housed it to rise up to a higher level of being that humanity cannot experience – cannot contain.
