Cancer, I may never understand the medical part of it but I fully understand the physical & mental toll that it takes on those suffering & the families that surround the person fighting this terrible beast! Today my heart is very heavy as yet another dear friends life has been taken by this animal! In my last conversation with him he knew even though he had one last radiation treatment & tried to remain positive that something wasnt right but he felt honored to have lived the life that he was given, to have the love of so many family & friends & to have been able to do so many things throughout his life! It was sad to hear that his concerns were correct & things werent ok. His family meant the world to him & it is through the love he gave everyone, that everyone gave it back to him! Cynthia he loved you so much & he truly knew how much of yourself you gave to him in his time of need, he told me how much you had been there for him & it actually rendered him speechless as he told me! Be comforted knowing that you did everything that you could do & in knowing that he is no longer suffering! I bet all that thunder & lightning last night was Eric dancing & telling jokes in the heaven above! Eric, you were truly one of a kind my friend! You will forever be in my heart, fly free!! Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers as they go through this very difficult time!! God Bless & remember everyone, do not take any moment in life for granted!
