“Capitalism, economies, corporations, markets, currencies -- these are not forces of nature, we invented them.” ~ David Suzuki Joseph Stiglitz proposes that we re-invent our economic system. Not all economists (not even a majority, apparently) follow the fatalistic and negative ideologies of conservative charlatans like Milton Friedman and Alan Greenspan. Those ideologies have been dominant in the halls of power (Washington DC, The Federal Reserve) for decades, and its been disastrous. Its well past time to try a different model.
