We must observe to innovate: I am more and more convinced that the changes we are looking for will only happen when we use the same discipline that consumer product marketing companies use - to gain insight to the drivers of behavior - and then - craft a combination of targeted content, reinforcement (technology does a good job with these two things) and a reward system to replace the habit we are trying to eliminate. Until then, the singular use of technology will only be as successful as the singular use of content.
