Carol and I spent the afternoon ripping apart the freezer trying to locate the leak. Found it - a clogged drain hole which neither boiling water nor the suggested high heat hair blower could dissolve. Found an old piece of tubing laying around the house and snaked it through the hole until it came out the other side! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Saved at least a couple hundred dollars. More, actually. Carol was on the internet looking at a $2000 new fridge!
