Carpool Angels Mary Galace Trinidad and Vivien Lim brought me from the Town Country Resort & Convention Center, San Diego, CA to Long Beach to examine a paternal aunt who had a med-surg development earlier in a.m. and to advise accordingly as well as to get my two bags in their garage and to Covina for a second cousin whose fig tree we invaded and as a rest area for Mary and Vivien for their final destinations in Van Nuys and Santa Clarita, respectively. We discussed a lot of topics about their membership to the Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, plastic and reconstructive surgery, NaFFAA and their first year under the leadership of Noel Omega, an IT specialist, and a possible website in honor of the late Fe del Mundo, a pediatrician extraordinaire, who gave a second life to Mary as an infant and who displaced her guilt of not expressing her gratitude to her when she was still alive to me as a distant relative. 08/11/M started with an 8:00 a.m. holy mass at St. Louise de Marillac Church, Covina, CA with Cousin Cynthia del Mundo de Padua who drove us to Garden Groves Pacific Haven Subacute & Health Care Center for a maternal relative, Ida Custodios husband, Rolan whom we prayed over using St. JoseMaria Escrivas I wrote from memory since I forgot the cards in my other bag and left at the right corner of his Happy Birthday greeting. The Filipina clinical coordinator called up their oldest daughter and we talked over the phone with the promise to include her father in my prayers to the Greatest Healer. Cynthia whose 50th was five days before, August 6th, was treated to her recommended Ayce Sushi for eat-as-much-as-you-can Japanese favorite food. We were given free Mochi green tea ice cream for dessert but missed their singer who would serenade the celebrant then dance together. Belated happy golden, Cousin, and many more returns of memorable years!
