Carson update - Saturday, October 11, 2014 The Lord lets us have trials in life to give us the opportunity to grow. We grow not from the trials we get, but from the way we handle them. Certainly, Steve, Nikki, Carson and their family have had their share of trials this past 2-1/2 months and if I do say so myself they have handled them well. Often when the night and our trials seems to be at their darkest, the sun rises and replaces the night with warmth and brilliant light. Today, the dark night was replaced by the beautiful sun. Friends, neighbors, volunteers, family, and hundreds of interested individuals came out to support Steve, Nikki, and their sweet little family. The best in people came out with the sun. All of these individuals had no personal reward and nothing to gain but to show the best in individuals to provide love and service to a family who were in the darkest of their times. To those of you who organized, supported, and worked so long and hard to pull this fund raiser off, we cannot adequately express our gratitude and our sincere thankfulness for your time, patience, organizational skills, and hard work. To you all who came out and participated, most of you who unknown to us, I cant say enough. Thank you for caring, thank you for bringing out the best in people. This was so overwhelming to me and my wife, it brought us to tears to see and feel the love. To the sponsors of this event, we thank you for your generosity and support. You have provided a little kindness and support to defray the costs of this event. Thank you all. Lets reach out and support our sponsors. I wish we could individually thank you all, we love you, we love that you brought out the best in people. You provided Christ like service and love. To all of the young children struck by this terrible disease, you are all loved and known individually by our Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ. You will beat this terrible scourge, hang in there and keep fighting. I am going to post several pictures from todays event.
