Where: NJ School of Dramatic Arts 593 Bloomfield Ave Bloomfield, NJ 07003 When: Wednesday, June 4th at 5:30 – 8:00pm Thursday, June 5th at 6:00 – 8-00pm Synopsis: A young girl admitted into an insane asylum is triggered into recounting events that led to her detainment when she went in search of her missing friend only to unveil a family’s sadistic secret. Please bring in a headshot AND be prepared to present a monologue as well as the prepared side. THIS IS A NONPAID MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT PRODUCTION. Food, transportation (including compensation) will be provided. You will also receive your footage after the completion of the film Characters: SOPHIA CASSIDY (17 – 19) is the head cheerleader of the Hopewell High School and the self-declared “Queen Bee.” Her self-centeredness leads to her intimidating persona; she enjoys reminding people of her superiority. SEAN CASSIDY (17 – 19) is Sophia’s brother. His tall and athletic build has leaded him to become the star-quarterback of the Hopewell High School and is overall physically dominant. His charm allows him to be persuasive and get what he wants. MR. CASSIDY (35 – 50) is Sean and Sophia’s father. He is over-the-top friendly but can be menacing and aggressive in a snap, making him seem psychotic. MRS. CASSIDY (35 – 50) is Sean and Sophia’s mother. She is a woman of few words but is always smiling and does not tolerate foul language. She is conservative and over-the-top friendly like her husband, leading to a disturbing character. AARON BROOKS (17 – 19) is vice-president of the senior class of the Hopewell High School. He is likeable, inviting, and determined to find the answer to any inquiry. MIZUKI (18 – 23) is a mental patient at the North Ward Mental Institution along with Mia Davis in present time. Although not Asian, she has given her name to Mia Davis as Mizuki. She is an oddball and claims to have had a grim past. Mizuki is mysterious and cunning. She is athletically flexible and has experience in martial arts. ORDERLY SMITH (28 – 35) is an orderly at the North Ward Mental Institution in present time. He is tall, athletically built, and a menacing threat to the patients at the hospital. He takes pride in his power in the facility.
