Cathys Chaotic Christmas Concussion! (Austin came up with that) When I got to the hospital and spoke with the ER admissions nurse, she took the regular information, then I said I was hit in the head with a table. That made her take a second and ask again... this could only happen to me, I swear! Instead of our lovely brunch, we were all starving after 90 minutes at the ER, we wound up at McDonalds! I have a mild concussion; so need to be careful and not left alone for the next few days. I will set my phone alarm for every 2 hours overnight tonight. My kids were wonderful in the ER with me. A MEGA THANK-YOU to Krista Doherty, RN, who was my medical go to and advised me to head to the hospital. My nurses name was Shelley/Shelly... figured that was a good sign. The doctor was very funny. No wine with dinner tonight, unfortunately, Shelly Whitney, but were looking forward to coming over! See you and yours soon. I will post my Christmas message later.
