Caught in the act of Fishing (M-26-70).. Witnessed 2 undercover police or DSAT detaining a taxi driver who is always fishing for passengers at Galaxy... The driver allowed the passengers to get in the car, then told them to get out (possibly because they didnt agree with what fare he wanted). While the passengers were getting out, that was when the two officers blocked the taxi, showed their badges and asked the driver to get out of the taxi... The driver initially refused until the officer again showed him his badge and began pointing and gesturing for him to get out... It got to a point where the taxi driver even started arguing and raising his voice towards the officer... Not the smartest thing to do if you ask me, but then again most if not all of these type of taxi drivers are just plain ignorant... The other officer took the statements from the passengers and asked them to leave. I believe the officers issued the driver some sort of document and I think they kept his taxi driving permit... I sure hope they do this more often especially around all the hotels in Macau & Taipa... It would definitely boost the positivity in tourism...
