#CelticsSchedule The season opener will on the road in Toronto on Oct. 30 and won’t have the hype surrounding it in past years when the Celtics were a national TV draw to usher in a new NBA season. The home opener will be two nights later against the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. When point guard Rajon Rondo returns from his ACL injury, he won’t have the ability to showcase his talents when the lights are brightest in the national spotlight, something he has done throughout his career. The Celtics will not appear on TNT this season, and will only play in three games on ESPN, with no appearances on ABC. The Garnett/Pierce return game on Jan. 26 will be on ESPN, but the Celtics only have two other dates scheduled on the network: Dec. 6 against the DenverNuggets and Feb. 21 at the Los Angeles Lakers.
