Central government is saying we have hiked cess on petrol and diesel but the retail price remains same and as such we have not added any burden on the common people. But a question arises from here. So the oil companies became sufferers. 4,000 - 5,000 crores mopped up by the Central government by raising cess on petrol and diesel prices. The burden was not passed on the shoulder of the common man but the burden was imposed on the oil companies. The question arises from here - when the oil companies will get sick who will take care of them?
