:Chairman Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani today resisted all blockades and siege laid by police and made his way to Jamia Masjid Hyderpora soon after the police stationed at his residence declared ban on proposed Quran Conference and participants were not permitted to enter the party headquateres.Sy ed Ali Geelani while condemning the ban saying that ban on conferences is intolerable and unacceptable for us .Taking dig at administration Syed Ali Geelani called it madness and added that we won’t act as mute spectator .Sunday ,Spokesman said that Tehreek Hurriyat had announced that it would organize a Quran conference at its headquarters and a number of scholars were invited, but Sunday morning heavy contingent of police was deployed at all crossings and roads leading to proposed venue and no one was allowed to go inside. Latter it was decided in a meeting to conduct the conference in adjoining Jamia Masjid. In the meantime, Chairman APHC Syed Ali Geelani came out of his house and until on-duty police officers could understand the situation and try to prevent him , Syed Ali Geelani boarded the car and reached Jamia Masjid Hyderpora. Syed Ali Geelani in his presidential address condemned the authorities and added that “ not only that my political activities are being restricted but the government is preventing me from my religious duties too. Syed Ali Geelani said that as a Muslim we cannot tolerate injustice and added that on one hand they are desecrating our Holly Quran and on other hand they impose restriction against Quran conferences. We warn the administration, Said Syed Ali Geelani and added that this approach of administration may not deliver any good to them. Syed Ali Geelani in his address said that Holly Quran provides a complete code of life for all human beings and for those who believe in Almighty Allah. Syed Ali Geelani said that slavery is forbidden and Holly Quran defies every kind of slavery. While lashing at SSP Srinagar for his recent statement wherein he had revealed that till now 15 percent youth were arrested and manhunt has been launched to trace out the remaining target and would be arrested soon .Syed Ali Geelani said that those youth were protesting against the desecration of Holly Quran and their arrests are justified and added that religious sentiments were hurt, response was expected and in outrage people protested and demonstrated against those involved in the heinous crime .Syed Ali Geelani while demanding immediate release of youth said that there is no difference between state police and BSF. Syed Ali Geelani in his warning to administration said that bullying is not acceptable in any form and termed their all oppressive measures symbolic for their tyrant and autocratic rule. Syed Ali Geelani said, that they have turned they state into a Military cantonment and added on one side state has been changed into a military cantonment and on other hand provide free hand to communal section. They are perpetrating a plan for one more massacre ,said Syed Ali Geelani . Commenting over Ladakh Hill Council status ,Syed Ali Geelani said that providing more options ,establishment of separate Police rang are step towards proposed division of the provinces. Syed Ali Geelani categorically opposed the plan and said that we with unanimous voice reject it and added we will oppose it till a decision with respect to futre of state is estabilished. Rejecting any division of the state, he said that the whole of Jammu and Kashmir including Ladakh, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan is one unit. Syed Ali Geelani while discussing the Amaranth Yatra said that Amaranth Yatra is simply a religious ceremony and we never challenged or opposed it ,however under its garb India has politicized it for its political and military objectives. Syed Ali Geelani said that ASB has emerged as state within a state and increase in number of yatris up to 9 lakh has affected badly and exposed environment, forestry and water resources to a great risk. Pro- freedom leader said that we are fighting for our birth right and our movement has nothing to do with sectarian ideology or thought and added there is no risk for Hindus, Sikhs and other minorities. Syed Ali Geelani said that we do not oppose their return to valley and added however, we understand that a separate home town for Pundits would have adverse consequence on social relations .Reiterating his call for election boycott for forth coming elections ,Syed Ali Geelani said that India portrays the election for its interests and as a weapon against the freedom movement. Terming the participation in elections Islamic and casting of vote who favour indecency and spreading waywardness a great sin and added it is great tragedy that even the courts have failed to provide justice to people. I’m under house arrest since 2010,said Syed Ali Geelani but court has failed to provide any legal relief to me .Syed Ali Geelani expressed his concern over the recent bloodshed in Pakistan and added Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban is prime enemy of Islam and Pakistan in contrast, the Afghan Taliban ,they are fighting against foreign occupation and they have our full moral support. Expressing concern over the situation in Egypt, the so-called Democratic candidate openly stand exposed said Syed Ali Geelani and they have proved that they accept only that self-styled democracy and administration which favors them . Spokesman as dais secretary and speakers who addressed the conference include General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai ,Maulana Khursheed Ahmad Qanoongo,maulana Altaf Hussain Nadvi,Advocate Main Abdul Qayoom, Zahid Ali advocate and Raja Meraj u Din Kalwal.
