Challenging Monday? Take some time out to breathe and create even a short meditation practice. Meditation has been show to decrease stress, reduce negative emotions, increase immunity and even to make cellular changes to your body keeping the cells healthy. After 8 weeks of a meditation program, studies have shown that grey matter was more dense in areas associated with learning, memory processing, and emotion regulation. Remember your asana practice is also a form of moving meditation and mindfulness. Yet more reasons to hop on the mat!
