Chance to receive a £30 Blackwells book voucher for website user testing Are you thinking about applying for postgraduate studies? Would you like to receive a £30 Blackwell’s book voucher in return for 30 minutes participation? Are you available on 14 May? As part of the upcoming website usability and effectiveness review, we are asking for participants to user test the Oxford Brookes University website. Prospective postgraduate students form an integral part of our key audience, and therefore we would value your participation to gain insights into the prospective postgraduate user priorities. User testing will involve undertaking a number of navigation based tasks on our website, while being observed by a note-taker and recorded on video. Testing takes a maximum of 30 minutes and is located on the Gipsy Lane site in half hour slots between 10am and 4.45pm. We are looking for five participants, ideally a mix of people looking to go on to postgraduate taught courses and research programmes, so the chance to take part and receive the voucher is on a first come first served confirmation of availability. This information will form part of the user perspective analysis of our usability and effectiveness review of the website which is being conducted by an external company to provide us with key information about our current performance. Your participation will therefore contribute to the valuable research data that will allow us to improve the website and help achieve the University’s objectives.
