Chandrababu Babu tries to woo Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. AP CM Naidu will rope in private players to give a boost to IT sector in the state. State govt will adopt Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model to build IT towers, IT parks and IT zones in Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupati, Anantapur & Kakinada in next 3 yrs. 15% reservation in built-up space will be given to women & 25% investment subsidy on fixed capital with a maximum limit of Rs 25 lakh will also be provided to women. Empowered mission for electronics & IT promotion will be established to give a fillip to the development of the sector and to take faster decisions. IT minister Palle Ragunatha Reddy will lead a high-level delegation to US & UK to invite NRIs to set up companies in AP. Naidu will also conduct a special meeting with IT bosses soon and invite them to become share holders in development of AP. “Hopes are high among people of SA that Naidu can convince Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Telugu man from SA, to set up a Microsoft office-cum-campus in residuary AP.” CMO, adding youngsters from state need not go to Hyderabad for jobs in four to five years from now as Naidu would bring IT companies, pharma and other industries in AP.
