Charlotteville Dental Clinic To Offer Free Care To Veterans. WVIR-TV Charlottesville, VA (11/10) reported on its website and during its evening broadcast that the Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic “will provide free dental care to under-insured veterans living below the poverty line” on Veterans Day. Though most veterans do not receive dental health benefits, Piedmont Regional Dental board member and Army veteran Phil Sterbling said, “I think that dental care is something if you’re a veteran and you’ve served honorably that you should be entitled to.” The clinic will offer either a free cleaning, filling or tooth extraction, as well as oral cancer tests, blood pressure checks, and flu shots.
