Check this out!!! A Cedarville Grad Proposed on the Meredith Vieira Show. NEW YORK - A Raleigh man had a big surprise for his girlfriend on Fridays Meredith Vieira show. On the broadcast, Nick Hobbs, 24, and his girlfriend, Alexa, were in the audience watching what she thought was a trailer to a movie. Instead, it was a film that mimicked their dating and how they met at a container store. At the end of the video, Hobbs appeared and spoke of how much Alexa meant to him. Then sitting in the audience next to her, he got on one knee, offered her a ring and proposed. Before the engagement, Hobbs told Vieira, “Alexa and I like to surprise each other.” Vieira gave the couple a honeymoon in the Caribbean as a gift.
