Chelsea was one of those other unknown bands of the early 1970s, from New York City, best known as the bands drummer Peter Criss before joining Kiss. They released one album, titled, for then collapse during the recording of their second album. In August 1971, the band became The Lips (a trio formed by Criss and his fellow Chelsea Michael Benvenga and Stan Penridge). In the spring of 1973, The Lips was just the duo Criss and Penridge was finally dissolved. Pop rock melodies, melodic excellent work.
