China Copper Imports Increase By 8.1% In July Gasping for breadth, Copper has got a new lease of life from Chinese trade figures. Total Copper unwrought imports increased by 8.1%, as per General Administration of Customs. Remember, inventories of Copper in LME maintained warehouses have swelled by 92% this year. China has smartly acted as a trader of commodities in recent times. Buying at lower levels and dumping the produce at higher levels in warehouses. Most of the metals including Copper are likely to be used more as trading commodities. Real demand is still on the backseat.
