The candidate must be skilled on the keyboard instruments – piano, Hammond organ, and a 3 manual Rodgers digital pipe organ – giving priority and preference to the Rodgers instrument. The candidate must have experience teaching vocal parts to choirs. The candidate would be responsible for preparing the choir for worship services. Reading music is a requirement. Playing by ear is a necessity. The music for worship is blended; however, there is a preference towards traditional gospel, hymns, and anthems. This position will require the occasional outside engagement with the Pastor at other churches. Compensation will be negotiated with the pastor. This is an immediate opening.
