Chot Reyes is taking a beating in almost all forms of social media. The coaching booboo is forgivable as they were all judgment calls. What i find unforgivable is making a statement in relation to the Phil-Taiwan ties in a big sporting event. This is a major blunder if this were a FIFA-sponsored event. Sports should always be above politics, and the statement made by Chot only serves to divert the focus of the Filipinos from his coaching errors at the expense of further deteriorating foreign relations. Focus on coaching chot and leave politics to the politicians.
