Chris Emmerson-Pace gave me a 6. Six things you REALLY dont know about me which are absolutely true: 1. I pulled a CODE BLUE in Yale-New Haven Hospital in August 2001 post-lumbar surgery. The morphine pump bag failed, and I got all the morphine at once. I was literally dead on the floor. Four doctors and 8 aides worked for hours on me. Ambu bag, Narcan, the paddles. EVERYTHING. I was clinically dead...and came back. Oxygen content in my blood? 17%. 2. Tazed 4x in 15 mins in the wet snow. 200,000 volts of electricity and I lived. Again. 3. Math with Bernard: RamRod (FtL) + policeman + watersports = one happy and wet police man, in full uniform. 4. I actually held, and raised over my head, The Olympic Torch, at 5am, when it came through South Beach for the Atlantic Summer Olympics. 5. Proudest moment in my life, to this day? I gave my maternal grandmothers eulogy. No script, no notes, extemporaneously, I opened the eulogy with de mortuis nil nisi bonum and closed it with Carol Burnetts signature closing Im so glad we had this time together. 6. And, for the grand finale closing...I shook Robert Mapplethorpes hand, garnered an autograph, and spoke with him for 20 mins at The Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford CT in 1986. BONUS ROUND: I started going to gay discos in 1975, when I was 15!!!! Comments, people? I came totally clean!
