Christianity is not a religion, its a relationship! Really? If I were to examine most Christians devotional lives, I would say that Christianity is like having a distant acquaintance... If you have a best friend, you set aside whole nights and days to spend with them! If you have a spouse, you have quality time together to build a stronger and more intimate relationship! You sometimes shut off the whole outside world, just to share quality alone time with them! When have you last set aside a whole night to spend in prayer to God or set aside uninterrupted time to read His word and have fellowship with Him? Turn off Facebook for an hour and give the same attention to God that you would your best friend who comes to your house to visit. Share with Him whats on your heart, apologize to Him for your wrongs, ask for His help, depend on Him, thank Him, rejoice with Him and worship Him!
