Christina Marie Says My son has hfa. I absolutely can not get him motivated to do any kind of work. It takes him hours just to do a few math problems, most times he wont try given the type of problem, such as factors of numbers. I cant get him to.do.chores. He makes more work for himself trying to.get out of the work, than actually doing the work. Yesterday we asked him to pick up pine cones. This should have took about ten minutes, but even after three hours it still was not done. Hed kick the cones near the container then pick them up and put them in, or grab one at a time and slowly walk over and place them in the container. I have promised him computer/ game time for completing his work, but it still doesnt get done. Any suggestions?
