Christmas Day around NW Louisiana is usually quiet, and this - TopicsExpress

Christmas Day around NW Louisiana is usually quiet, and this Christmas was no exception. Weve had a predominance of cloudy weather, so it was nice to get out when the weather was nice. The Port of Shreveports Baldwin No. 4001 was set up nicely for photography. On the other hand, the ex-MP switcher was parked perfectly - perfectly for a big light pole shadow. Weve been lucky with this switcher - it moved across town from Hansen Aggregates to the Port. Finally, a new KCS SD70ACe was tied up in Bossier City (adjacent to Shreveport). A freight train on the left side blocked the sun quite nicely, but I was able to get a nose shot that illustrates how nice this paint scheme looks when it is new. KCS 2898 was next to this train, but the angle was very tight and I was blocked from increasing the angle by the KCS Mac. Some days everything is close, but you just cant get that solid shot.
