Church / Christianity has always been anti-semitic in her theology & practice. This is evidenced by the writings of the church fathers. Even though there is a growing popularity of church people studying the Hebrew roots (festivals, language, culture etc), the roots of Christianity was never Jewish or Hebrew to begin with. Read the note below to help you keep in context what has been going in the New Testament. The theology of Yeshua (or Jesus) is essentially Pharisee ism in nature. He and Paul agreed mainly with the house of Hillel. Those He disagreed, are only a handful literally speaking. To say that the Pharisees = bad is missing the point of what the besorah (gospels) and Pauls letters are trying to portray.
