Citizen United v. Federal Election Commision: a call to boicot 2016 Election!!!!! By: Daniel A. Berríos Our Supreme Court removed the restriction on Coporation to contribute politician directly. Individual were capped at $2000 limit. The Court ruled unconstitutional and open the door to unlimited amount of money in an Election process, with only one condition: money cant go directly to any candidate. To fill the hole created by the Supreme Court, Rommey and Obama set independent political action commitees ( PAC) with their respectives formers campaing chairman. Both created a new name for those commitees and bingo!: millions of dollars flow from big corporation to manipulated the public with propaganda. The question is, where are we, the people? The Constitucion said we the people not Corporations. We cant allow this, specially when most American Corporation sold their assets to foreing individuals, including adversary goverment. We cant allow Wall Street to influence public opinion on their money maker interest only. I know how happy are those Media Corporations: more money for political campaing, more revenues for the TV station! (At least the press may recover their lost status if this corporate wrong doing campaign donation is overturned) We most move quickly, but with nonviolence acts and there is no better time to plan a national boicot for the next 2016 elections. We dont need to go out and make noise on the streets: never know if the Goverment send anarchist and someone end injure. Just stay home and watch the news. I have a 2016 dream! I have a dream that American citizen will wake up and demand integrity to our leaders, Republicans, Democrats and Independants. I wish to see the number 0 at every election results displayed on the TV screen. That is the message our politics and the entire world need. They need to know that we have the power in our hands, but we must do this all together, like a big family with the right to live, the right of freedom and the right to pursue happiness!
