Close One Book You need to close one book before you open up another one, Things get complicated when you mix the past with the present. Tie up loose ends so that they wont come undone, Dont end something with out closure, keep things pleasant. Through out your life, people will come and people go, Some are put into our lives and are meant to stay. Sometimes we dont know why but that just goes to show, That some are put there briefly and suppose to leave anyway. Some people come into your life to teach you a lesson, Sometimes we break up and move on for a reason. And some people come into your life as a blessing, Even though youre together for only a season. We all learn from our past mistakes, Some leave a big impact we cant ever forget. Some experiences are good, some are great, And some leave us with a lot of regret. Cut the cord on someone who you call an ex, They had their chance and it didnt work out. Its only going to cause problems and become complex, So leave them in the past and let go, thats what its about. Dont bring exes into your current relationship, If they come back into your life, set them straight. They are the ones who chose to jump off the ship, Tell them they missed out and its too late. That chapter has ended and youve started a new, Dont drag past ex drama into your current life. Focus on the current relationship and just you two, You could lose the person youre with from unwanted strife. The past can come back and ruin what you have, You cant read two books at once, finish one first.
